Rob Glenn – Senior Editor
Rob Glenn grew up where the smell of race fuel and jet exhaust filled the air. From dirt track racing with his dad to watching F-16s roar overhead at airshows, his early years were shaped by speed, precision, and mechanical grit. His first car — a 1967 Camaro — sparked a lifelong love of classic and muscle cars that continues to drive his work today.
A U.S. Air Force veteran and graduate of LeTourneau University with a degree in Business, Rob went on to spend 30 years in the telecommunications industry, specializing in engineering and construction. Now, he channels those decades of technical experience and discipline into writing about the machines, innovations, and military tech that still capture his imagination.
At Combat Rated, Rob brings a hands-on perspective and a deep respect for anything that’s battle tested and built to perform.
David Patrick – Contributing Editor
David Patrick’s life has been defined by discipline, service, and hands-on craftsmanship. A U.S. Navy veteran, having served aboard an aircraft carrier during the Vietnam War — an experience that deepened his respect for precision, teamwork, and military engineering.
After returning home, David joined Ford Motor Company, where he helped build American cars on the assembly line before transitioning into communications technology. Over the next 25 years, he worked on the systems that would evolve into the backbone of today’s internet — connecting the world one circuit at a time.
In retirement, David remains devoted to family, friends, and the pursuit of knowledge. At Combat Rated, he shares a lifetime of experience from the factory floor to the flight deck — always honoring what’s Battle Tested, Battle Approved.
Zane Clark – Executive Editor
Zane Clark is the embodiment of the modern Renaissance man — blending discipline, creative craftsmanship, and digital innovation. Raised in a large family with 10 siblings, he learned leadership and teamwork early. Zane also grew up in the garage, helping his father restore classic cars. He was learning how to build cars before most kids had a driver’s license.
His fascination with military aviation began at air shows, where the roar of F-35s, Thunderbirds, and Blue Angels sparked a deep respect for precision engineering and power. After college, Zane built a strong presence on social media, collaborating with top creators like MrBeast and developing multiple successful online ventures.
Today, he channels that same drive and curiosity into Combat Rated, where he brings a sharp, forward-thinking voice to stories about machines, technology, and innovation that are truly Battle Tested, Battle Approved.
