“First and most important, thank you to President Trump whose vision and courage and determination has achieved something that if you had predicted it 15 months ago people would’ve said it was impossible. If you would’ve said 15 months ago that we would achieve the lowest national murder rate, not in five years 15 or 30 or 40 but in the hundred and 25 years no one would’ve believed it possible. President Trump did exactly that and it is a miracle.”

Miller pointed to what he described as sweeping declines across multiple categories of crime and public safety metrics, emphasizing the scale and speed of those changes. “Just think about this for a second, under President Trump’s leadership, the largest reduction in murders in American history, largest American history crime, reduction in overdose deaths illegal immigration and criminals arrest, removed or deported in American history all done in one year.”
He also argued that such developments have not received proportional attention, stating, “I would just say this, we had in honest media in this country, the statistics would be 24 seven on the news. No one could’ve ever predicted such an achievement would be possible.”
The remarks come amid continued reporting from federal agencies highlighting sustained reductions in illegal border crossings. Data released by the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection indicates ten consecutive months in which no illegal migrants were released into the United States interior, alongside a broader decline in encounters and apprehensions to levels not seen in decades. Officials have attributed the shift to an enforcement-focused approach and policy changes implemented during Trump’s second term.
