“Iran Has No Ability to Defend Anything That We Want to Attack—There Is Nothing They Can Do About It!” President Trump Says

U.S. Joins Russia and China at International Labour Organization to Replace "Aggression" With "Situation" in Ukraine Resolution — The Only Country to Have Changed Its Position Since 2022

President Donald Trump issued a forceful statement asserting the United States’ overwhelming military advantage over Iran, emphasizing that the country poses no real threat to American forces or global security.

Trump declared, “Iran has NO ability to defend anything that we want to attack — There is nothing they can do about it! Iran will NEVER have a nuclear weapon, nor will it have the ability to threaten the United States of America, the Middle East or, for that matter, the World!” He also warned that Iranian forces and those aligned with the regime “would be wise to lay down their arms, and save what’s left of their country, which isn’t much!”

Operation Epic Fury, launched at Trump’s direction on February 28, 2026, is focused on dismantling Iran’s security apparatus and neutralizing threats to U.S. interests in the region. As of March 12, U.S. Central Command reports that approximately 6,000 Iranian vessels have been targeted, with over 90 ships and minelayers damaged or destroyed. The operation employs a wide range of U.S. military assets, including B-1, B-2, and B-52 bombers; F-15, F-16, F-22, and F-35 fighter jets; drones such as MQ-9 Reapers and LUCAS; missile defense systems like THAAD and Patriot; and naval assets including aircraft carriers and guided-missile destroyers.

The campaign has targeted command and control centers, IRGC headquarters, intelligence facilities, air defense systems, missile and drone production sites, naval vessels, and minelaying infrastructure. CENTCOM officials have emphasized that the operation prioritizes critical threats while carefully managing the potential for collateral damage.

Trump also stressed the technological superiority of the U.S. military, asserting that American weapons are “the most powerful and sophisticated that the World has ever known.” He noted that while certain infrastructure has been spared for strategic reasons, the United States would reconsider its restraint if Iran or any other actor interfered with the free and safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

The president’s statement underscores the administration’s position that military readiness and decisive action are central to U.S. policy in the region. With Iranian forces signaling no intent to cease hostilities, Operation Epic Fury continues to serve as the primary mechanism for enforcing U.S. strategic objectives and maintaining control over key maritime routes critical to global energy supply.
